Natasha Richardson’s Loved Ones Attend Private Viewing

Saying their goodbyes, family and friends of Natasha Richardson paid their respects at the American Irish Historical Society on Manhattan’s Upper East Side on Friday afternoon (March 20).
There for a private viewing, Natasha’s husband, Liam Neeson, joined family members Vanessa Regrave and Joely Richardson, as well as Diane Sawyer and Uma Thurman, just two days after Richardson’s tragic death.
The previous evening, family and fellow thespians including Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick offered condolences as Broadway dimmed the marquee lights for one minute to mark her passing.
In a statement released earlier today, Miss Parker, quoting the song lyrics “Every time we say goodbye, I die a little/Every time we say goodbye, I wonder why a little,” said: “It’s as if Cole Porter were writing the sentiments of everyone who was privileged enough to know, work with or love the late great Ms. Richardson.”
