Following a late night on the set of her new movie, Katie Holmes was spotted out in New York City as she headed back to work on Thursday afternoon (March 5).

Prepared for the chilly weather with a navy jacket, jeans and green winter hat, the “Dawson’s Creek” cutie slowly but surely made her way to join her co-stars on the set of “The Extra Man”.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Katie’s new comedy is being co-directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini, also starring John C. Reilly, Kevin Kline and Paul Dano.

A synopsis of Katie’s latest project tells: “A man who escorts wealthy widows in New York’s Upper East Side takes a young aspiring playwright under his wing.”
