Catherine Zeta Jones: Full-Time Big Apple Resident
Keeping busy with her stage duties, Catherine Zeta-Jones was spotted greeting fans at the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York City on Saturday evening (January 16).
Decked out in fur, the 40-year-old actress tended to her routine weekend double duty gigs as Desirée Armfeldt in the Broadway show “A Little Night Music”.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Catherine plans to make the Big Apple her permanent residence for the next couple years rather than return home to Bermuda.
Not pleasing her actor hubby Michael Douglas, a source tells of the decision, “Michael doesn’t like being in the public eye all the time in New York and it has made him quite tetchy. He and Catherine have clashed over staying there. But she has a movie to promote soon so she’s happy to be where she’s visible.”
With Miss Zeta Jones winning out, a spokesman for Mr Douglas said: “They plan to stay at least two years and are very happy in New York.”
