Black Eyed Peas: Looked Up to Michael Jackson
Keeping busy promoting their new album “The E.N.D,” the Black Eyed Peas were spotted leaving their London hotel on Friday (June 26).
As one paparazzo snapped pictures while the group headed to Whisky Mist, he asked how the band felt about the death of pop icon, Michael Jackson.
The group responded, “It’s a very sad day for the pop industry, especially for us as we looked up to him and his work.”
And while the the Black Eyed Peas’ single “I Gotta Feeling” is still #1 on iTunes, Michael Jackson singles including “Man in the Mirror,” The Way You Make Me Feel,” “Thriller,” “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough,” and “Smooth Criminal” are scattered throughout the top 10.
