Beyonce and Chris Martin Peform Halo for Haiti
Giving one of the most powerful performances of the night, Beyonce and Chris Martin came together at the Hope for Haiti Now Telethon on Friday (January 22).
The “Sasha Fierce” singer incorporated Haiti in the lyrics of “Halo” while the “Coldplay” frontman played on the piano.
The words of the song were, “Haiti, we can see your halo/ You know you’re my saving grace,” she sang. “You’re everything I need and more, it’s written all over your face/ Haiti, we can see your halo/ I pray you won’t fade away.”
Later, Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z along with Rihanna and U2 took the stage for another incredible, heartfelt performance.
